A) Carbon Bonded silicon carbide Crucible (Suprex brand or equivalent) Capacity ( Nickel brass) = 300 kg Pouring Temperature = 1400 C (max) Height = 675 ± 5 mm Top Dia meter ( inside ) = 350 mm Top Dia meter ( outside ) = 435 ± 5 mm Bottom Dia = 250 ± 5 mm Length of spout = 146 + 10 mm B) Muffle Ring (Suprex brand compatible with the above crucible or equivalent) Top to Bottom outside Dia = 450 ± 5 mm Inside Dia = 355 mm Height = 255 ± 5 mm C) Crucible Stand (Suprex brand compatible with the above crucible or equivalent) Top outside Dia = 305 ± 5 mm Bottom outside Dia = 250 ± 5 mm Height = 125 ± 5 mm D) Crucible knob Cover ( Compatible with the above crucible or equivalent) Top outside Dia = 455 ± 5 mm Slight variation in the sizes can be allowed but no compromise on capacity and number of heats. Moreover the sizes of all the items must be compatible to each other. All the items must be from the same manufacturer & same material. PERFORMANCE OF THE CRUCIBLE ON GAS FIRED FURNANCE BASIS CRITERIA WILL BE CAPACITY AND NO OF HEATS A ) Minimum 60 heats of each Crucible on Cupronickel, Brass or Bronze alloys Melting, selected randomly in the presence of Bidder or their authorized representative), on two crucibles. OR B) Minimum 200 heats each crucible. For two crucibles (selected randomly in the presence of Bidder or their authorized representative) in Aluminum.
