Description
The implementation of production counting in the Leather sector is a continuation of FBR’s efforts for production monitoring in multiple sectors. Prospective vendors with sufficient capability and experience for the prescribed technologies (barcode/QR/RFID-based counting, industrial sensor-based monitoring, weighing/measuring machine integration, OCR/image-based recognition, camera and video analytics, etc.) exist in the market and have submitted bids in other similar procurements. To ensure the effective participation of relevant market players, a two-stage procurement process has been adopted to facilitate market engagement through the issued RFP. Market players will be actively engaged through a pre-bid meeting and a Bidders’ Conference as integral components of the procurement proceedings.
