Description
SNGPL intends to hire the services of a local/foreign contractor firm specialized in providing consultancy on assessments of corrosion threats due to HVDC interference with gas pipelines, having adequate experience/expertise in carrying out studies/modeling for HVDC interference with underground metallic gas pipelines and advising comprehensive solutions to ensure the incident-free and safe operation of SNGPL’s pipeline system in the vicinity of HVDC electrode station & power line. The bidder may be a joint venture of local and multinational companies, each having relevant expertise in similar works and a sound professional reputation. The bidder must have successfully completed at least three (3) similar projects for oil & gas pipeline companies. Details and certificates of satisfaction from the clients of previously completed jobs of similar nature must be attached as evidence

Remarks
The study shall be carried out and analyzed by qualified and experienced personnel, utilizing appropriate and industry-accepted analytical methods, algorithms, and software as applicable. The findings shall be compiled into a clear and comprehensible report. Based on the results of the study, the contractor shall provide definitive conclusions and comprehensive recommendations, including comprehensive solutions to the above interference issues. The relevant and applicable standards, including but not limited to ASME, NACE (AMPP), ASTM, and other accepted industry practices, shall be followed for guidelines in this regard.
